Sunday Services:

Our Staff

Pastor Matt Swain - a husband to Becky, a dad to:  Ben (Mary Grace), Drew & Rachel.

He has been in ministry for 25 years and pastor at Calvary since February 2023.

His life verse is:

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

Proverbs 3:5-6​

​Ministry Assistant at Calvary since December 2024.

Her favorite verse is: Genesis 1:1

Carolyn Stonestreet - wife to Jody and proud boy-mom to Gavin and Hayes.

Carolyn has 30 years of experience working with young children.

She became the Children's Ministry Coordinator in April 2023.

She clings to the promise of Romans 8:35-39 that

nothing can separate us from God.

Conner Johnson - Conner grew up in Calvary Baptist Church

and is currently a senior at East Tennessee State University

and has served as our Youth Minister since July 2023.

While at ETSU, he serves on leadership at the Baptist Collegiate Ministry, majoring in history,

and is expected to graduate in December 2025.

His favorite Bible verse is: John 10:11

Weston Taylor - Weston also grew up at Calvary,

he has been on staff at Calvary since October 2023

as Associate Minister of Administration and Education.

Upon graduating from East Tennessee State University with an undergraduate and master's degree,

he recently obtained a graduate certificate in Biblical Studies from Liberty University.

His favorite Bible verse is: 2 Timothy 3:16

As it serves as a reminder and emphasizes the importance and usefulness of

The Bible as a guide for life, teaching, and training in righteousness.
